Fall Rallye & Annual Meeting–October 25/26, 2003
A total of 28 cars participated in this fall's Rally in Door County
on a beautiful fall day with lots of fall color. Starting in the
small town of Institute and winding through the picturesque fields,
woods and shorelines of Door County, the rally participants attempted
to follow Dean Pearson's tricky, but always precise, directions
until at last they finished at Maxwelton Braes Country Club restaurant
thanks to the restaurant's excellent chef, Jonathon. Jonathon hurriedly
arranged for our Club to have dinner there when the total number
of people reached 72; too many for our original restaurant.
Sunday morning we all met at the Cherry Hill Country Club for
a spectacular brunch, Rally awards and annual meeting. This year's
Rally, for the first time, split into a Novice Class and an Experienced
Class.

Annual Meeting
Following the awards we held our annual meeting, primarily for
the purpose of electing a new Board of Directors to fill open positions.
Elected to the three open positions were Colleen Lowry, Wim
Vandenberg and Jerry Zajicek.
The new Board then held a brief meeting during which the following
were elected as officers: Dave Anderson – President, Nancy
Pearson – Vice President, Jerry Zajicek – Secretary
and Rita Anderson – Treasurer. (Note:
The Secretary and Treasurer are not required to be Board members,
and Rita was elected as Treasurer due to her accounting skills
and experience as an organization treasurer.)
Our thanks to Nancy and Dean Pearson and their many helpers who
made this event a huge success. Also to Gen and Gordon Woller,
who could not be present, but who hosted the Annual Meeting. Finally
a special thank you to Gordy Wolfgram who did a tremendous job
of helping to find our hotel, and eating places. This was certainly
one of our best events in many years.
